Soccer World Cup 2022

FIFA The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be the 22nd FIFA Men's World Cup and will be held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022.

It will be the third time that the World Cup has been held on the Asian continent, after the Korea-Japan 2002 Soccer World Cup and Russia 2018, and the tournament will also be held for the first time in the Middle East, in a majority Arab country. Muslim, in addition to being the smallest in terms of territorial extension.

Compared to the previous edition, this will also be the longest wait for the World Cup since 1950, as it will take place between November and December 2022, instead of the usual months of June and July. At the same time, it will be the shortest World Cup since 1978, as it will only last 28 days, as opposed to the usual 32 days of the last tournament.

Spain's soccer team has played in 15 World Cups and was the host in 1982. It was named the FIFA Team of the Year for the sixth consecutive time in 2013.

As for international competitions, the Spanish team has currently won a World Cup, an Olympic title, three European Cups, a Confederations Cup and a League of Nations.
